i loved each and every one of you
that were touching my life is some simple way
in a flash you were gone and it
took two whole years to pull some of you back
into the black space i was inhabiting
you didn’t understand, maybe you still don’t
but at least you are back and we have
a place to start, shaky footing at times
but it us better than having solid nothing
